In the Bible, sunsets primarily symbolize the end of the day, marking a transition to rest, divine reflection, and the commencement of a new day, which traditionally begins at evening. They are used to highlight God’s sovereignty, the beauty of creation, and moments for healing or, in some cases, divine judgment, appearing as significant, symbolic moments from Genesis to the Gospels.

• A Call to Worship and Rest:Sunsets are a prompt to praise God from “rising to setting” (Psalm 113:3). They signify the end of labor and the beginning of rest, echoing the Creation narrative (Genesis 1:31) and defining the Sabbath, which begins on Friday evening.
• Divine Control and Glory:The setting sun is a display of God’s handiwork (Psalm 19:1) and a boundary He established between light and darkness (Job 26:10).

The primary Bible verse featuring FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE  is 1 Corinthians 13.12- 13, which states:

–  “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.”

I interpret the word CHARITY as LOVE, as when you have a special affection and care.

Then this verse highlights the essential and enduring virtues for Christianity  and that only the LOVE will endure forever, because it is Eternal. The other virtues, faith and hope are smaller, because in Heaven when we will see the Lord face to face, we will not need faith or  hope to believe in Him, because we will see clearly the Word alive in Him, we will just LOVE HIM FOREVER. Then, just our LOVE for the Lord and His creation will remain. Because this verse states:

– the greatest is the LOVE.
